End User license agreement

offWoods – End-User License Agreement (EULA)

By installing, activating, or using any offWoods device, firmware, or mobile application (“Product”), you agree to this EULA.

1. License Grant

offWoods grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Product for personal, recreational use only.

2. NOT FOR EMERGENCY OR LIFE-SAVING USE

⚠️ CRITICAL SAFETY NOTICE

The Product is NOT intended for:

Emergency communication
Life-saving purposes
Rescue operations
Distress signaling
Medical or survival reliance

DO NOT rely on offWoods Products as your sole means of safety or communication.

3. No Replacement for Common Sense

The Product:

Does not replace safe firearm handling
Does not ensure awareness of hunting partners
Does not prevent accidents or injuries
Does not guarantee message delivery or location accuracy

You are solely responsible for safe conduct at all times.

4. Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge that:

Radio signals may fail
Messages may be delayed or lost
Location data may be inaccurate
Devices may malfunction or lose power

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with Product use.

5. FCC & Radio Compliance

This Product may operate on license-free radio bands permitted by the FCC.

User Responsibilities:

You must comply with all applicable FCC rules and regulations
You must not modify antennas, firmware, or transmission power
Unauthorized modifications void authority to operate the device
Operation is subject to interference and may not be interference-free

FCC Statement:

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
(1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and
(2) This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

6. No Warranty

The Product is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranties of any kind, including:

Fitness for a particular purpose
Reliability
Continuous operation

7. Limitation of Liability

offWoods’ total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the Product.

offWoods is not liable for:

Injury or death
Lost hunting partners
Missed communications
Equipment damage
Environmental exposure

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless offWoods from claims arising from:

Misuse of the Product
Unsafe hunting practices
Violation of laws or regulations

9. Termination

offWoods may disable or restrict Product functionality if this EULA is violated.
